seeking an AI & ML Architect or Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced
AI systems, with expertise in Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP),
Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), and the latest large language models
(LLMs).
Job Summary:
As an AI & ML Architect / Data Scientist at Turinton Consulting, you will play a pivotal
role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning
solutions. Your work will encompass a broad range of AI techniques, including Deep
Learning, NLP, CNNs, and developing and fine-tuning large language models
(LLMs). You will also create innovative Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-
based LLM applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will deliver AI
solutions that drive business value, and you will be instrumental in pushing the
boundaries of what AI can achieve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop AI/ML Solutions:
Architect, develop, and deploy traditional and deep learning models for
various use cases, including predictive analytics, image recognition
using CNNs, NLP, and recommendation systems.
Build, fine-tune, and deploy large language models (LLMs) from
scratch, leveraging state-of-the-art techniques in natural language
processing.
Create and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based
LLM applications, integrating external knowledge bases and real-time
data sources to enhance model accuracy and relevance.
- Hands-on Model Development and Deployment:
Engage in hands-on coding, data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face, and others.
Develop and optimize CNN architectures for image processing and computer vision tasks, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs to specific business contexts and requirements, optimizing them for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Deploy AI models in production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and low-latency inference, using platforms like AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure ML.
- R&D and Innovation:
Lead research initiatives to explore new algorithms, architectures, and
techniques in AI/ML, with a focus on staying ahead of industry trends.
Innovate and experiment with cutting-edge AI/ML methodologies,
including the development of novel RAG strategies for enhancing LLM
performance.
Contribute to the development of proprietary tools and accelerators that
can be leveraged across multiple client projects.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate closely with data engineers, software developers, and
business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business objectives
and integrate them seamlessly into existing systems.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists
and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and
innovation.
Engage with clients to understand their AI/ML needs, translate those
into technical requirements, and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Model Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
Implement robust model evaluation metrics and frameworks to assess
model performance, fairness, and robustness.
Continuously monitor models in production, making iterative
improvements based on real-world performance data and feedback.
Ensure all AI/ML solutions adhere to ethical AI standards and are free
from bias, ensuring fair and responsible AI deployment.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
2 – 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong background in
building and deploying deep learning models, including CNNs for
computer vision tasks.
Extensive hands-on experience with building, fine-tuning, and
deploying large language models (LLMs) using frameworks like
Hugging Face, GPT, BERT, etc.
Proven expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including
tokenization, embeddings, transformers, and attention mechanisms.
Experience in developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
systems and integrating them into LLM applications.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
and MLOps practices, including CI/CD for machine learning.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with deep
knowledge of AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Expertise in deep learning techniques, including CNNs for image
recognition, and NLP for text processing and understanding.
Strong understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and
model evaluation techniques.
Experience with databases, data lakes, and data engineering tools to
manage and process large-scale datasets.
- Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think
critically about how to approach and solve complex AI/ML challenges.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex
technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for nurturing
talent and driving innovation within teams.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science,
Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A Ph.D. in a relevant area is a
plus.
